Happy Thanksgiving!

A few people I’m grateful for this year…

I am grateful for my husband, who continually encourages me in my writing endeavors even while pursuing his own.

I am grateful for my kids, for giving me inspiration when they play their own stories and hugs when I need them.

I am grateful for my parents, who kept every book I wrote from age 9 on so that even today I enjoy pulling them out and reminding myself that this is what I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember.

I am grateful for friends and family, near and far, who provide babysitting when I need “a room of one’s own” to go write, and words of encouragement when I need them.

I am grateful for my agent, Julie Gwinn, who is working hard to get me published.

I am eternally grateful for my Lord and Savior through whom all things are possible. I am thankful for the gift of writing He has given me and pray that each word comes back to Him in praise.
